This belt was made on specifications of the monk apprentice Silva Riku, who had inadverdently bragged to much about his unarmed combat prowess equaling the master of the temple, in which he was training. Even though the belt did give him some of the abilities that the his master had learned through many years of practice, it did not give Silva the lightning speed that monk masters posses. Silva's defeat was fast and rather humiliating, causing him to abandon his training and instead make a living as a actor, where his bragging couldn't get him in trouble.
