Whilst wandering in the woods, an elderly female hermit noted on how much simpler it is to judge a tree. A tree does not move away when you are trying to appraise it and it does not attempt to conceal its vines and thorns. The hermit mused over this further and through time gained much wisdom of the forests and it's enchanting. Many years later when she had explored the entire forest, she found a group of explorers and aided them in their quest to explore unknown regions. Unknown to her however was the evil intentions of the explorers to use the forests for new sites of their towns and cities. When the hermit finally became aware of their evil intentions she summoned forth a much greater force of the forests. The defense of mother nature allowed her to overpower the superior equipment of the explorers and discourage them from making their new towns in her forest. How long this single handed defense lasted is unknown but the forest is still said to be a safe haven for all who merely travel.
