Forsaken shells are what they appear to be - the empty skins of past victims, purged of their blood of visceral former contents. The loose skins possess an amazing strength and elasticity, driven by necromatic hunger and a predatory nature that cannot be denied. Amazingly this specific specimin has decided to latch onto the suit of full plate. Perhaps it has been commanded by the Undead King to protect you from harm and keep one of his Champions alive, or maybe it simply wanted to keep a very successful provider of fresh meat alive. With each blow you land it seems to grow in strength and become increasingly bloated. Periodic draining of this necromatic power is required for otherwise the Forsaken Shell will burst, throwing negative energy across the battlefield. In wrapping itself around the armour it somehow manages to transfer a form of it's abilities to you. It provides the might of the undead hunger and the unwillingness to stop. Each blow landed on you by slashing weapons seem to be absorbed by the writhing skin.
