A green slithering snake like creature is mummified within the lining of this helmet with it's head and open maw positioned at the back. The idea is once donned the creatures fangs sink into your neck and it's venom begins to course through your veins. Once poisoned the creature animates and when all is quite you can hear a supping sound.
Already being poisoned gives some resitance to other poisons.
