These magically infused Boots are made and named after the fact of adventurers traveling through the storm or so the legend goes anyway. These boots were made to get people through the storm and out of harms way. Although myths don't have it as what storm it was, we could only imagine it was a great storm and involved a lot of people as lot of these boots exist. But again Storm could be another name for some other great catastrophic event
