Designed by an unknown or forgotten source the original Belt of the Archsorcerer is thought to be hundreds of years old. While the creator may have been forgotten or unnoticed in the tomes of history the belt was surely not, as its great powers gave rise to great desire among the many mages of the land. So it is with no suprise that the belt was quickly studied and copied and has given rise to many duplicates.
