Roitar was a weaponsmith who sold his goods in the town of Arakan, specializing in spears and other throwing weapons for hunting. This displeased both the local bowyer and the guild of smiths, who saw him as cutting into their profits. Fortunately for them the weapons he produced were sub par, at best, and Roitar's lack of any skills with his own creations did little to help his credibility. To improve business Roitar set about designing a weapon which "Could not miss" and attempted to use them to accomplish great deeds. Several prototypes were designed, based on a spear with multiple points. This is one of the so-called budget versions of the weapon with a mere three points, making it technically a trident, though four and five pointed versions were also made. Unlike it's more pointy brethren this model is actually of practical use, the so called upmarket versions being so poorly weighted and flimsy that they were next to useless. While the design makes it easier to hit things, it's poor balance means that putting full force into blows is difficult. Roitar was last seen taking his latest five pointed creation into the wildest part of Arakan woods to prove it and his worth. He is missing, presumed dead.
