No one really knows what fate befell Balduran, the founder of Baldur's Gate, but people never grow tired of speculating. When his personal armor was found on the Sword Coast - supposedly recovered and sold by a group of adventurers - it only served to spark interest in him once again, and several copies of the suit were made to accommodate collectors and historians. In this way, it could be said, Balduran obtained a measure of immortality.
