Vestuarvil, Mage and friend to the allies who fought the Manonera, enchanted this Bastard Sword with protective spells, with the hope of helping its wielders against the varied attacks of their enemy. But one enchatmnet needed to be layed upon the sword before the allies could wield it, making sure that no Manonera could use it. He was betrayed though by a band of Human warriors lead by Telarik, who sought to claim the sword for himself. Telarik believed that he could strike a bargain with the Manonera and thought that the sword would be his best defence incase the Manonera chose to kill him. As Vestuarvil lay dieing, he completed the enchantment on the sword before Telarik could take it from him. Thus limiting the wielder to only the Rangers and Druids. The blade was copied many times, though saw litttle use, due to the limitations of the final enchantment. Many of them found there way onto nobleman's walls as decorative spoils of war, after the Manonera conflicts.
