The year of the Dracorage (1018 DR) brought great destruction to the Heartlands, but not just to the besieged residents. Dragons also fell, their enormous corpses like surreal punctuation on the battlefields. In the aftermath, scavengers took weapons and equipment from the dead, and the hides of the great beasts as well. Several suits of Blue Dragon Armor were created, but the makers remain as anonymous as the dragons whose scales were stripped.
