Wu Chi was the Grand Master in the Order of the Setting Sun, one of the oldest Monastary's in the East. They were revered for being the purest of the pure and their regard and respect was broadened as they were chosen guard for the most powerful Lord, I Ting Chen, in the entire region. As I Ting Chen's grew old and his health faded, so did his mind and better judgement. And, following the Wars of Seccession, the Lord betrayed the Order and set an attack to destroy Wu Chi and his Order. Fearing the coming armies, he had these cloaks crafted for his Orders protection against the lords combat mages. While the Order was victorious in defeating the wizards, Wu Chi had not foreseen the legions of mercinaries that were hidden in reserve. The monks, as well as the master himself, were soon cut down in a hail of arrows and swords. As the fires that burned the Monastary lit the night sky, the remaining students gathered up the cloaks from their fallen brothers in hope to preserve some of Wu Chi's legacy. Over the years some of the students have attempted to copy the cloaks.
