Sometimes you need to get there fast and silent and these boots served this certain purpose. A certain group who has chosen to remain "Unseen" had these boots made for their scouts.
Made out of a super lightweight unknown material that allows the user to move silently, yet it is still not known what gives the wearer its speed. Is it the lightweight of the material, magic infused in the sole or are they just enchanted by a great mage. If the scouts decide not to remain Unseen maybe we would find out.
