These helms are known to be worn by the guardians of the Elven Royal Guard. However, several of them found service int the Ranger scouting parties against the Drow. Althought the Elves are extremely reluctant to grant their magical wares to outsiders, it has been known for these helms to be granted to those who have fought in the defence of the Elven forests.
