These Axes were crafted originally by the Deep Dwarves, but stolen by their hated enemies the Drow. The Drow launched a fated assault against the Elves, using what they thought to be a devastating weapon aginst the Elves, despite their distatste for such crude weaponry. These axes although used to devastating effect against theElven forests, reduced the hiding capability of the Drow. Although the reduction to their ability to hide was only slight, it tipped the battle in the favour of the keen sighted Elves.
