The northern tribes of Kalos produce warriors of unmatched strength and vigour. Because of their relentless pursuit, and merciless slaughter of their opponents, these savage men are feared and despised throughout most of the surrounding lands. However, they are also envied by many a swordsman, longing for the brute strength they possess. Arvil Anderthey, a spellsword whose abilities with the arcane far surpassed those of a martial prowess, was one such. Not even with rigorous training and spells to enhance his physique could he in any way match the Kalos Warriors. Ever coveting them, he eventually lured a single barbarian outpost of, killed him, and managed to trap the escaping soul of his victim inside his blade. He managed to wield the blade to a certain degree of success, he slew many opponents. Though eventually the Kalos discovered the fate of their fallen, whom they quickly avenged. The tribe was unable to destroy the blade and set free the soul of their kinsman, unfortunate for them, lucky for the current wielders of the numerous copies there have been made since.
