This sword was forged just after the cataclysm by Edrias Whisperfoot, a Half-Elf. When his beloved wife was butchered before him by a Manonera raiding party, Edrias, once a proud half mortal, sank into a dark and brooding mood; cursing himself to slay his new enemy until they were extinct, or he himself dead. In Battle, Edrias fought with great ferocity, sacrificing defence as his lust for the enemy's death overwhelmed him. Despite many victories he was never sated and finally he fell at the battle of the western shore. As he died he imbued his hatred and dark mood into the blade, forever cursing any wielder to suffering from Edrias's dark mental state.
