The Emerald order was a group of hunters, scouts and vagabonds. They were living on the brink of the known civilized world in constant battle with the forces of the dark. But never a part of the towns or any of their inherent lobbies. There is little known about their history. But there is a hint that at some point in time an evil force overwhelmed them and destroyed everything they built. This is the armor the High Lord wore.
