Gorn the Stormcaller, a legendry figure in Pureblood history, was one of their most powerful shaman. Gorn learned the art of storm calling from the Air Spirit Thunder Boy, after winning a wager between the two. Thunder Boy bet Gorn he could race the Sun across the sky and beat it to the horizon before night fell. As much as he tried the feisty Air Spirit could not out pace the Sun, and it stayed above his head and never set.
As a prize for winning the wager Gorn took Thunder Boy's Spark and kept it for himself.
