Wraking, an especially manipulative wizard created this staff to make his victims dance to his every whim, unfortunately for the good wizard his staff does not alter the memory of his victims, and eventually a lynchmob of people he had humiliated caught him unawares and beat him senseless. After that incident he vowed never to touch another charming spell.
