Murlock a wizard of chaos and necromancy, created this staff from a skull of a balor lord and a broken staff of power. Once forged, Murlock used this staff to conquer the southern low land regions of Dorning with his barons of hell. Murlock was eventually defeated on the fifth day of fighting when Lord Jerome placed a crossbow bolt through his left eye in the heat of combat outside the city gates. Lord Jerome then ordered his mages to banish the staff, of course they were unsuccessful as you now have it in your possession.
