During the height of the war almost a century ago now, twenty preists of Tyr were chosen to lead holy armies across Faerun in order to destroy temples and orders opposed to Tyr. Many battles raged, and in far most were successful, for the ones that were not, the staff you now hold would have never been in your possesion otherwise.
