This large shield with the charateristic bear paw on the front, is an artifact of the long gone cult of the bear. A cult of native inhabitants of the Blackwood who worshipped a bear goddess called Larana. She was their protector, giver of life and their guiding light. Sadly the only thing remaining from this cult are some items and some shattered statues in the Forests.
This version is one of the finest examles ever found not only does it enhance the casters ability to chanel the energies of nature but has further enchantments intended to assist the bearers totem companion.
