2025-03-15 — 304 items touched — browse every item as of v006o
We are happy to announce that all T11, T10, and B6 items have been reforged! This wouldn't have been possible without the dedication of Kalmeb, Bolto, Kid, Valentir, Psv, and Thundermaul, who spent countless hours over the past weeks working together to find the best stats for these items so everyone can enjoy them. Each of you contributed valuable ideas to give the loot a second wind. A special thank you to Kalmeb, who initially suggested the stats for all the items and led the project from the start. A huge thank you to Strom, who took on the massive task of integrating the new stats into the mod, updating over 300 items in the process ! Thank you all for keeping the server alive and evolving! Now, hereโs whatโs new: -You can find the complete list of T11, T10, and B6 (and all others not upgraded yet) items here tinyurl.com/threetowns-items. Spoiler alert: all the stats are listed! If you want to keep the surprise, donโt look. -Some items now have more uses per day than normally allowed by the rules. The exact amount is written in the description, and remaining uses will be displayed in the log. (Unfortunatelly this is not perfect, if you spam the item it might consume more charge than just one, I'll try to improve this later). -For some items that can cast spells, the cast level is increased above the maximum allowed by the rules and the value is stated in the description. -It is now possible to forge three types of damage with the new forge stones, on all Monk gloves and two-handed weapons, including Greatsword, Doubleaxe, Dire Mace, Two-Bladed Sword, Trident, Spear, Halberd, Scythe, Greataxe, Heavy Flail.. This applies to all tiers, not just T11, T10, and B6. Consider like the weapon is having 4.5 slots, but one of them is reserverd for a third damage. (Sorry for the headaches) -Some items grant bonus Sneak Attack feats. These stack with any existing Sneak Attack you have. Example: If you have Sneak Attack 2d6 and equip an item with Sneak Attack 5d6, you will get a total of 7d6 Sneak Attack. -I have built a new system to manage item tiers, making it much easier to add or remove items from a tier and adjust their rarity within a tier. (Currently, all T11, T10, and B6 items have the same drop rate.) -If you already posses one of the reworked items you can visit the Shape Shifter cave to use the "Items Upgrader" chest and upgrade it to the new version. Note that this won't work on altered items (forged with new forge stone, reward gems that add properties to items etc). Contact a DM or post on the forum to get help updating such items. Miscellaneous Changes: -Added a shortcut in Samiel's dialogue to reroll T11 random items more quickly. -Started working on an alternate route from the Great Desert to the Open Desert. Clue: Look south. This will be improved later to make reaching Mano easier when you cannot find a party to do Beholders. -The Armored Tank widget is now applied automatically upon resting. You no longer need to buy it. However, it is still useful if you want to recast it between rests. -The Lock DC of a Coj door has been set back to 30. -Fixed typos. -Slightly increased the drop chances of boss items. -Added a new boss drop mechanic: If a boss doesnโt drop an item from its defined tier, an additional roll will be triggered for the next lower tier, and so on. -Epic DC progression is now back to 1/2 per level, instead of 1/3, like in version 1.69.
