An aspiring Templar applicant mage smith decided to impress the Templar Elders by creating something truly unique. What she saw was a need to deliver those nasty touch spells in the heat of combat without suffering the painful consequences. Unfortunately she met a grizzly end at the hands of a rather nimble Ogre while conducting trials. Her notes did survive however and led to the creation of these somewhat useful gloves.
