Kharn the Immortal - the most feared and renowned outlaw and Blackguard of the Three Towns region. Famed for his merciless killing sprees and constant attacks on Fer. Bullied one of the mages of Exile to craft him a shield, then killed them when their best attempts were not remotely powerful enough to do his own powers justice. Regardless, the shield somehow found its way into the hands of those willing to use it, and before too long other mages dared to make copies. This version of the shield has actually been crafted by an ally of the guardians to counter the influence of Kharn and so does not require that you are black of heart to wield it.
